JOSE GARCIA CAMPOS - ESCULTOR

José García Campos was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He graduated from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture. Since then, he has carried out important works of art such as: "El pescador de sueños" (Fisherman of Dreams) at the Plaza Minillas in San Juan; "Portal de las artes" (Gateway of the Arts) in the city of Barceloneta in front of Ramos Antonini Theater; "Gestación de sueños" (The Gestation of Dreams) at Columbia College in Caguas; "Metamorfosis" (Metamorphosis) at the Museo del Niño of Carolina; "Alas de agua" (Wings of Water) at Veredas Project in Gurabo and "Flamboyán de Cedro" in the recently inaugurated Museo de Historia y Arte de Carolina.
